With the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) wrapping this week there were some nifty innovations on the retail front. The coolest one: Using induction charging technology that has been used for toothbrushes and cell phones for the last few years, companies are now wanting to bring it to store shelves to light up their packaging or heat up your soup. Then when you take the product home it can link to your computer or mobile device and it will tell you if you’re running out, the nutritional content, or when the product is going to expire.
